Are the products that you offer on your website different than those offered in your store?
Currently, www.oceanacapecod.com offers a small selection that we feel is representative of the atmosphere and quality that we enjoy cultivating in our store. At this point, there are no single products that are exclusive to the website. However, we have designed a series of gift collections that are featured only on our website. We invite you to visit our store in Orleans so that you may experience an even broader selection.
What products are available online
We have chosen some of our favorite products, including some of our most popular wedding and birthday gifts for the online store. We have featured these items for many years, and are happy to present spectacular jewelry, unusual serving ware, books, and toys.
Do you have a print catalog?
We do not have a print catalog. At this point we are reaching our customers only through our store and this website.
I saw an item in your store but cannot find it among your online offerings. Can I still order this item?
You are welcome to call our store so that an Oceana staff member can tell you if the item is in stock. In this case, you may make arrangements to special order the product directly through Oceana.
There are often products that we have not included in our online inventory because we cannot guarantee that they will be consistently available. Because the range of items in our retail store is so much larger than that online, the stock is often more fluid. This may explain why an item that you saw might be absent from our online selection. Most of the products included here have been chosen because of their long-term popularity with our customers. Still, bear in mind that our website is very young and we are eager for it to expand and grow. The product that you want may be part of our next update.
Shopping
How will I know if you've received my order?
If you have provided us with your e-mail address during the checkout process, you will receive a confirmation e-mail once your order has been successfully placed. This e-mail should contain a summary of your order and a note on the availability of your items, should any of them be out of stock. We will also include your order confirmation number in this e-mail, which you should save for later reference.
When will my order be processed?
Your order will be processed within 3-5 days. Since the foot-traffic in our store can vary greatly depending on the time of year, we cannot guarantee same or next-day processing. It is likely that your order will be shipped within a day or two. However, we are a small retail business, and we cannot always accommodate requests for rush processing or shipping. Please allow up to 5 days for processing when planning your order. Also, note that your credit card will not be processed online, but rather in our store when your order is being shipped.
What credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
Is the credit card information I submit secure?
Yes. For every transaction industry-standard Secure Socket Layer encryption is used to transmit credit card information securely. SSL renders information unreadable should anyone attempt to intercept it.
Will taxes be charged on my order?
If you ask us to ship your order to a Massachusetts address, we are required by law to charge 5% sales tax on the value of your merchandise. If you are shipping to any other destination in the continental United States, sales tax will not be charged. Please note: taxation is subject to change as legislation changes throughout the country.
How can I check the status of an order I have already placed?
If you provide your email address when placing your order, we'll send you a confirmation e-mail once your order has been shipped. Once your order has shipped you may use the tracking number provided to check its status at the UPS website .
How do I purchase a Gift Certificate online?
After you select the Gift Certificate from the Gifts section of our Shopping Menu, simply choose the value of the gift certificate you would like to purchase. Our gift certificates are beautiful cards that feature artwork made exclusively for Oceana. Your gift certificate will be wrapped and shipped for the flat fee of $6.95.
Since we do not have a print catalog at this time, please take care to make sure that the recipient of your Gift Certificate has access to www.oceanacapecod.com or can visit our Orleans Store.
Can I redeem my Gift Certificate when ordering online?
To use a gift certificate when ordering online, treat this as a regular purchase and provide a credit card number. Then mail the gift certificate (with your order number noted on it) to our Customer Service department:

Your credit card will be charged for the amount you redeem, then credited when the gift certificate is received. We recommend making a copy of the gift certificate before sending us the original.
Gift-Wrap
What gift-wrap options are available for my purchase?
Gift-wrap has always been important to us. Because we want your gifts be as impressive on the outside as they will be on the inside, complimentary gift-wrapping is available for every item. Our signature gift-wrap is distinctive and elegant. You are also welcome to fill in the Gift Message field during the checkout process and we will include a note with any wrapped gift at no additional charge.
Shipping
How will my order ship?
All of our orders ship via UPS Ground. For this reason we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. At this point we do not offer 2 Day or Next Day shipping services
Can I ship items within one order to multiple addresses?
If you would like to place an order with multiple delivery addresses, you can enter separate orders on our website. We are happy to ship items to multiple addresses, but unfortunately we cannot do so online within a single order at this time. We regret any inconvenience and promise to make it easier to ship to multiple destinations in the future.
What will I be charged for shipping?
Delivery charges will be calculated automatically when you proceed to checkout according to the following scale:

Gift Certificates and orders that consist exclusively of jewelry can be wrapped and shipped for a flat rate of $6.95.
How long will it take to arrive?
Most orders will take between a week and two weeks to arrive. This includes processing time and delivery time, and will vary on the location to which your order is being shipped.
Is it possible to track my shipment online?
Once your item has been shipped you will receive an email with a tracking number to use at the UPS website . With this information you can check the delivery status of your order.
Return Policy
What should I do if I am unhappy with my order?
We want to do everything that we can to ensure that you are pleased with your order. Please check your order carefully and contact us by phone (1-877-240-1414) if you are not satisfied and we will assist you in finding a solution.
What if an item arrives damaged?
Contact us promptly by calling 508-240-1414 Please retain shipping box and materials until we have determined if UPS will require an inspection.
What is your return policy?
If at any time you are dissatisfied with your purchase, or if a product proves to be defective, you may return it to us or make an exchange. If it is convenient, you are welcome to return merchandise in person at Oceana in Orleans. If not, you may use the following address (in its entirety) to mail online returns.

For your security, we suggest that when sending us merchandise for return, you use an insured carrier. Please note: Shipping fees are non-refundable .
Returns accompanied by an original invoice can be refunded in full. All other items may be returned without a receipt and a store credit will be issued for their value. Store credits have no expiration date.

Do you have an online bridal registry?
At this time bridal registry is a service we can only offer in our store. If you are local, or are getting married on the Cape, please stop by our Orleans location and a staff member will be pleased to establish a registry for you.
